Meeting facilities available covering 32,000 square feet. Lucy's full service restaurant and lounge. Large indoor atrium fun center featuring indoor pool and Jacuzzi, table tennis, video arcade area, and state-of-the-art fitness center. Manager's Reception every Wednesday night. Hot Buffet Breakfast, as well as items cooked to order, are available each morning in our Brady St. Bistro. Pet charge of 5.00/night, 50 pounds and under, limit 2 pets per room. |
MGT Music Video Schedule Preview 4th Annual March Get Together The Get Together dates have been moved up a couple of weeks due to the timing of the Easter holiday next year and so the meet will run from Monday, March 10th through Thursday, March 13th, 2008 Registration will open at noon on Monday with orientation and programming beginning at 7:00 PM. Classes and demonstrations start on Tuesday at 9:00 AM and running until after 9:30 or so each night until the big night of the Gala Banquet ends after about 10:00 PM on Thursday evening. The registration price includes entry to the Banquet which is not to be missed. It is always a fun social event with good food, good company and lots of prize drawings. Last year MS gave away over $6,400 in prizes to our attendees, including a brand new Renommee Plus editor and lots of software. This is also traditionally the time MS gives us a sneak peak of new hardware and software and future plans for the company and its customers. The March Get Together is moving the venue to the Clarion Hotel Conference Center in Davenport, Iowa which is less than twelve miles from our former Holiday Inn location. Along with seminars, Wednesday will also be a special vendor’s day with most of the camcorder manufacturers committed to being in attendance. There will also be the traditional lunch and learning sessions around noon each day with simple lunches available to enjoy during some informative learning lectures and demos. Something & Different for MGT 2008 We will be doing something new and different this year. We will be creating a Music Video right there before your very eyes and with all of us participating. This is going to be more fun than people our age should be allowed to have. I can't say much more about this right now as it takes a lot of behind the scenes preparations and planning. We have one of the groups most organized and gung-ho members working full time on this outstanding and creative program. I will guarantee that this will be one of the most amazing and fun events that you will be involved with this coming year and for many years to come. If you miss this next March Get Together, you will kick yourself when you find out what we did in March of 2008 and all the fun things we did as a group. It is a time when new products and software are shown...often way before they are actually on the market so you can see what's coming down the pipeline in the future. The folks who attend the "March Get Together" are more in the know because of this event.
